Richard A Heinz
The Rev. Rich Heinz has completed 20 years in the Office of the Holy Ministry,six of which have been here at St. John’s. He graduated with a B.A. from Concordia University—River Forest (Chicago), majoring in theology and minoring in communication/theatre. After earning his M.Div. from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in 1995, he served Mt. Greenwood Ev. Lutheran in Chicago and St. John’s Lutheran in Lanesville, Indiana. His continuing education interests are in the areas of liturgics (worship) and catechesis (teaching the faith.) Pastor Heinz is also involved with Higher Things, a Recognized Service Organization of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod that serves youth. He has served as site chaplain for four years, and is in his fifth year as Worship Coordinator for the annual conferences. Pastor is an avid Disney and Star Wars fan. He enjoys theatre, film, music, and tea.
Mrs. Fasshauer has been part of the office staff since 1998 and thoroughly loves working at St. John's. She is a member of the church choir and adult handbell choir, serves on the Altar Guild and Co-Chairs the St. John's Picnic. In addition, she continues to play on the LAA Women's Volleyball Team.
Bob started as St. John's Business Manager in 2009.
Mark is St. John's Organist, Handbell Director and Music Director.
Mrs. Zanders, after being a full-time office volunteer, began her office employment in December, 2016 following the retirement of Mrs. Wheeler. She has three children, AJ, Ashley and Allison - 7th grade, junior at Luther North College Prep, and sophmore at Wright College respectively. Mrs. Zanders currently participates on the women's LAA Volleyball team.
Mrs. Benedict is the Eagle's Nest Coordinator since December, 2016. She and her husband Jeremy have 2 children, Gabriella and Kade who bring pure joy to their lives each and every day.
Miss Tammy works in the Eagles Nest, is the Teacher's Aide for Kindergarten and works Summer Camp. She also volunteers weekly for the Food Pantry.
Mrs. Castro works in the Eagles Nest, is a room parent and shops, cooks and serves for hot lunch.
